Welcome to Cosy Canine Club! By booking dog day care or home boarding with us, you agree to the terms outlined below. These terms are in place to ensure a safe, happy experience for both your dog and others in our care.
1. Bookings & Payments

Bookings are confirmed once availability has been discussed and new dogs have had a 1 night stay to ensure suitability to home boarding at my house, plus a 30% deposit of the booking has been paid.

Full payment is due before, at drop-off or pick up.

We accept cash, bank transfer or a card machine is available.
2. Cancellations & Refunds

Cancellations made 1 week or more before the booking will have their deposit refunded in full.

Cancellations made less than 1 week before the start of the stay will not receive a refund on their deposit.

No-shows or same-day cancellations (with no acceptable reason) will not receive a refund on their deposit and will have to pay in full in advance for any subsequent stays.
3. Dog Health & Behaviour

All dogs must be:

Fully vaccinated
-
Flea- and worm-treated
-
Friendly with people and other dogs. 1:1 care must still be friendly with people and manageable.

If a dog shows signs of illness or aggressive behaviour, we reserve the right to refuse or terminate care for their safety and others’.
4. Emergencies & Vet Care

In the event of illness or injury, we will contact you or your nominated emergency contact immediately. If we cannot reach you, we will seek veterinary care from your nominated vet or our local practice.

Owners are responsible for covering any veterinary costs incurred during the stay.
5. Liability

We take every care to ensure your dog is safe and happy. However, we cannot be held liable for injury, illness, loss, or death unless due to proven negligence.

All dogs remain the responsibility of their owners while in our care.
6. Insurance & Qualifications

We hold valid public liability and professional indemnity insurance appropriate for home-based boarding and daycare.

We follow best practice and have completed accredited canine first aid training.
7. Drop-Off & Pick-Up

We kindly ask that you arrive on time for drop-offs and pick-ups to avoid disrupting routines.

A late fee may apply for significantly delayed collections unless agreed in advance.
8. Photos & Updates
-
We often take photos during your dog’s stay to share with you and for use on our website/social media.

Please let us know if you’d prefer not to have your dog featured.
